Etikett is the collaboration of two friends from Cologne who realized the importance of having complete control over their creative output. Meaning, releasing music exactly how they like, and when they like. Mark Falkenrath and Marian Mueller have years of experience as deejays, producers, and label heads. Interestingly, they both come from a history of performing as a duo; Mark was half of ‘Tandem’ and Klangfarbe Schallplatten, while Marian was half of ‘Mueller & Mitch’ and M&M Records. Both have left their mark on Cologne’s nightlife scene in their own way so it’s fitting for the two to join forces now as a new duo in the form of label owners. House and Techno is the current focus, but expect their experience to provide a diverse musical output as the label unfolds.
